Deliveries within the Netherlands
A starry sky is shipped on the working day after the order has been paid. We can still process changes within 3 hours of your order. We ship with PostNL. They generally deliver within the Netherlands the following day (with the exception of Sunday). As soon as PostNL scans the package for receipt, a track & trace message will be sent via email (please also check your spam folder / junk mail!).
A read-aloud book is shipped within five working days on average. Producing a book is quite complex, so we need a little more time for this. We ship our read-aloud books on Thursdays and Mondays. We send it as a letterbox package – you do not need to be home to receive it. A track & trace message will also be sent for this package as soon as the carrier has scanned it.
Within the Netherlands, we charge a shipping fee of €3.00 for our starry sky and a shipping fee of €2.21 for our read-aloud book.
Deliveries outside the Netherlands
A starry sky is shipped on the working day after the order has been paid. We can still process changes within 3 hours of your order. We ship all orders outside the Netherlands via PostNL and their partner network. The total delivery time depends on the location of the order (Belgium generally the day following shipment – with the exception of Sunday).
The storybook is returned to the carrier within five working days on average, and the transit time depends on the destination. Feel free to contact us for an estimate.
As soon as the carrier scans the package for receipt, a track & trace message will be sent via email (also check your spam folder / junk mail!)
The shipping fee for orders outside the Netherlands is based on the actual costs; we request a contribution towards this.
Important:
Due to Brexit, there is no longer free movement of goods between the United Kingdom and the Netherlands as of January 1, 2021. Please note that this may entail additional costs when ordering our products. The recipient in the United Kingdom will also be required to pay customs duties if the contents of the shipment are worth more than £39. Please consult your local post office for the most up-to-date information.
Returns
Since our starry skies and storybooks are made specifically for each order, exchanges are not possible. We recommend carefully checking the details on the order confirmation to ensure that all information is correct. You can submit changes to us within 3 hours of placing your order.
We do our utmost to deliver your order as expected and on time. However, should your order not meet your and our quality standards upon receipt (for example, due to damage in transit), please contact us within a week. Send an email to hi@mrstarsky.com including your order number, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
